Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to make and deliver your order and to answer you. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t track you around the web.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number (for the carrier), what you bought and what you paid. Your card details are entered on our payment provider’s secure checkout page and never reach our servers.
- When you contact us: your name, email address, order number if you give one, and your message.
- When you browse: a cookie that remembers your cart, a cookie that remembers which link brought you here if it carried campaign parameters, and the ordinary server logs any website keeps for security. Search terms are recorded without any link to who typed them.
We don’t use advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.
How we use it
- To make, ship and track your order, and to email you about it: confirmation, tracking, and any delay.
- To answer your messages and put things right when something goes wrong.
- To prevent fraud and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
- To send marketing email only if you’ve asked for it. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that help us run the shop, and only what each needs to do its job: our payment processor, our print and fulfilment partner, the shipping carrier, and the providers that host the site and send our email. They may not use your information for their own purposes. Beyond that, we share information only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Carts expire after 30 days. Contact messages are kept long enough to follow up, then deleted.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we’re not required to keep it. Email support@cassidyinspired.com from the address you used with us. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though the cart needs its cookie to work. We don’t respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because we don’t track you across other sites in the first place.
Children
The shop is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Where it lives
The site and its data are hosted in the United States. If you order from Canada, your information is processed there.
Changes
Updates are posted here with a new effective date.
