About this piece
Bring the timeless spirit of the sea into your home with this Ship Wheel & Rope decorative throw pillow. The artwork features a magnificent vintage wooden ship's wheel, beautifully detailed with weathered timber, a charming antique-style metal center, and thick nautical ropes gracefully draped and looped around its spokes. Set against a dramatic background of swirling ocean blues, navy, and creamy whites, the composition captures the romance of traditional sailing and the adventurous spirit of life at sea. Rendered in an expressive impasto-inspired painting style, the artwork recreates the appearance of thick, sculptural palette-knife strokes, giving the design remarkable depth, texture, and movement. The warm brown wood and natural beige rope contrast beautifully with the rich blue background, creating a sophisticated coastal palette that feels both classic and contemporary.
This beautiful pillow brings maritime heritage, nautical elegance, and a sense of adventure into your living space. The ship's wheel, a timeless symbol of navigation, direction, and exploration, evokes the romance of historic sailing vessels, distant horizons, and the freedom of the open ocean. Its beautifully weathered appearance and the sweeping movement of the blue-and-cream brushwork make this cushion a striking focal point for sofas, reading chairs, beds, beach houses, coastal cottages, and nautical-inspired interiors. Whether you're decorating a seaside retreat, a lake house, or simply bringing a touch of maritime charm into your home, this pillow adds warmth, character, and an artistic coastal accent.
Printed double-sided on a linen-feel polyester cover with a black hidden zipper; included: a shape-retaining insert that comes in 18×18 in. or 22×22 in. for sofas, beds, benches, and layered cushion styling.

For deep seating—or if you prefer a luxe, extra-plump nautical look—sizing up creates that sophisticated, designer-style finish.
